Thats been say hundres of times, but once again Dino was proven wrong, that Wlad will duck Fury .... Give huge, huge credit for Klitschko, to his opponent choice. He could get some easy defence, but he get the best american or second best american HW. With Fury on the line, thats mean from his last 7 opponents he face 6 undefeated guys, simply incredible. I can put all of my money on it, that Klitschko will Knock Fury out !!!
Isn't Fury a mandatory? I don't imagine Wlad would be ok being stripped off a major belt by refusing to fight Fury. That would taint his legacy like ketchup on a white shirt.
Fury, at his best, plays distance well and hits hard. At his best, he is punchable. Fury is a great boxer who, if he stays motivated, he can possibly be THE champion once Wlad retires, but I don't pick anyone to beat Klitschko
yep, the klitfanboys will say fury is a modern day rid**** bowe if wlad beats him. but if wlad loses, hes completely shot, drugged, drained, too small, wrong shorts, bad hair day.
I was talking about Jennings match. Wlad could get some easy opponent. Just like Fury do all the time.
Seems he learnt his uppercut from Fury. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q3AncbV3gKU Wlad uppercutting himself. In all seriousness I would favour Wlad still to beat Fury.
Tyson Fury took a full power flush uppercut from a 6'9 260 lbs heavyweight. How did Fury take that punch if his chin is so bad?
If ever a rematch was warranted......Jennings deserves one. But, Wlad MUST fight Glaskov or Fury next, or at least offer them the fight and try to make it, with fair mandatory purse splits. Then there's the whole WBA defense. Worthy or not, the Chagaev Oquendo 2 winner also has a mandate. Wlad has not made a defense of his WBA title since Potvektin, almost 2 yrs ago. It's gonna have to be defended unless Wlad can get a crack at the WBC title. So there's no less than 4 fighters ahead in line for a Wlad fight. Then there's the whole Briggs situation. Sad as it is, Briggs has an American investor to make the fight. And it's something like 15+ million to Wladimir. He'd be an absolute fool not to make that fight. And Im sure that Wlad will take it if Glaskov or Fury blink during negotiations which will be started within the next month. Wlad will be back in Aug or Sept, and he's not gonna pay top $$$ for Fury, who will likely want more than 25%, in Germany, of maybe $8 mil. Thats just 2 mil for Fury unless his ppl can outbid K2. Fury will probably take step aside $$$ instead, something like 250K, while Glaskov will take 100K and Wlad will fight Briggs in August or September. Politics exist in boxing. :-(
