The change boxing needs: fights must be scored in slo-mo

Corruption is everywhere. Haymon is a good example as he is the flag bearer of the corruption brigade doesn't mean there's no one else behind him.

It's not a terrible idea, but I feel that it enables corruption more than the current system.

It seems easier to twist the scoring; judges will be allowed to justify their scoring based on showing whatever scenes of the fight they wish. The lack of on-the-spot scoring would just give them time to formulate their arguments and explain whatever bull**** decision they want.

Moreover, in a close fight, I have a feeling that the judges are going to contacted by the promoters ASAP and a bidding war will ensue.

 

Maaaaannnnn these PacGrimlins are insane. They want to judge fights in slow mo, live in slow mo, f##k in slow mo and even want us to type on this forum in slow mo. **** is freaking sad, pathetic, and absolutely hilarious all at the same time.

Just want to point out, in order to judge a fight in slow mo, the judging could start the same time the fight begins. The judges just watch from another room where the playback of the fight taking place is in slow mo. In fact if the judges watched every around at 75% speed. The verdict could be in 1 MINUTE after the fight ends.

Example fight plays at 75% speed for the first 3 minutes. So now 3 minutes takes 4 minutes. That is right when round 2 is about to begin, so the video would just cut to the next round.

Just wanted to point that out to OP's credit.

However, I think it wouldn't change scoring since it seems like many times the promoter who puts together the event, GBP, Top Rank, AL HAYMON (especially) has their fighter win if it goes to the cards.

 

Slow motion scoring is a recipe for disaster. Try watching a whole movie and slow motion and tell me if you understand what the movie is about.

 

Slow motion,standing with one leg,hands behind your back and looking the slowmotion backwards starting from round 12.and official result should be go trough court and humanrights before we announce the winner.

Should be clear in couple of years.

What is this idea?i should also think NBA games should viewed afterwards and all the illegal baskets,fouls etc should be taken off.

how about adding one judge to complete the sides of the ring plus the referee will be scoring?

 

how about just making the fight with odd amount of rounds as a tiebreaker instead of two split 6's.


But if we need a slow judge. We can have a special slow section for the slower fans among us. A bus maybe.

 

Perhaps the judges could score in fast forward? That way we'd have the results even before the fight ends!
