    Kid Galahad vs James Dickens

    Hughie Fury vs Shane McPhilbin

    Chris Eubank Jr vs TBA

I like watching the shows on channel 5. They have a different feel to sky and boxnation.

Without Degale or Tyson on top though do you think this show will bomb ratings wise?

Will the Burns decision at the weekend leave a sour taste with casuals and affect the viewership aswell?

I can see this maybe being the least watched channel 5 boxing broadcast since they started.

It doesn't quite have the appeal that Huck vs. Arslan II did as the Hors d'oeuvre before the Mayweather vs. Alvarez main course, but it's a tasty enough little card in it own right.

Hughie fury has started to make some noise amongst the casuals I've noticed, hopefully they stick him in with a durable euro fighter after this one.

Can Jazza get it done? :think

I've seen he is a 15/8 underdog. That seems a bit long.

I first spotted him on the Pryce vs. Rabchenko undercard a couple of years back and thought he showed promise. He still does have some of the same bad habits now (lots of nervous wasted movement, and looping tendencies with his fast and loose body shots, the slapping right hook and dipper left) but he is more controlled now in spots and has some very nifty hand speed.

OTOH, Kid Galahad might just be that extra bit special. He is the more polished and naturally talented by far.

I just don't know he should be quitesuch a fave. Galahad has only 90 seconds' worth of professional experience versus a southpaw (Griffin) - and he showed himself to be hittable by looping shots from Booth...much slower than Dickens, mind.

Saturday is a great night of boxing, really looking forward to it.

I think Kid Galahad will win and win well.

I missed that one; DeGale vs. Bozic undercard aye? I only caught the main event that day.

So KG finally realized he is allowed to sit down on his punches, did he?

I swear, despite having the higher KO percentage than Dickens (50 as compared with 30 - having two more stoppages in two fewer bouts) I could swear he is fives times softer hitting. My impression was always that he is among the most feather-pawed boxers I've ever seen, which is a shame because he is very skilled and that could drag him down from reaching as high as he could.
