Montiel beat the crap out of Jermall Charlo and exposed him. He made Charlo do the chicken dance at some point in the fight.

Charlo underestimated him but still won the fight clear. This is boxing you're going to get hurt in your career even if you have a good chin. You acting like he was dominated and got ktfo or something. That didn't happen.

@Pimp C Okay, but still Montiel beat the crap out of Charlo. I'm not saying he won the fight, but he beat him black and blue, landed lots of vicious shots and hurt him. Charlo didn't look like a superior champion.

He also dished out punishment of his own and landed heavy shots all night long.

Little Charlo yes, big Charlo, not even close. There is a clear difference between the two. Little Charlo has the fire inside. Big Charlo is all talk.

NEARLY knocked him out isn't knocking him out LOL Korobov boxed Charlo's ears off till he ran out of gas. He was out on his feet but STILL Charlo couldn't put him away You forget Korobov hadn't fought in ages & was on the undercard in an 8 rounder. Suddenly he's offered a title shot a few days before the fight. He took the offer & kicked Charlo's ass but got screwed That was Jermall though Jermell won last night fair & square

Of course they’re real. They’re good fighters, but they’re also vulnerable. I would say they’re both B+ fighters.

Charlo underestimated Montiel's ability to take a beating. He beat on Montiel until he tired himself out and Montiel was able to get some work done, but there is no doubt that Charlo won that fight. UD.

Add to this post, timestamped.... Jermall getting beat up and hurt in the 8th and 9th and roughed up in 10th and 11th rounds by Montiel. Who was knocked unconscious by Jaime Munguia.

Neither of them are anything special. I've never been impressed by them, they have natural talent but skills wise they are basic hence why they've needed the judges to save them from embarrassing losses at times.

Both are world class operators but neither will be going down as greats. Decent enough fighters fighting in weak divisions. The fact that a 40 year old, clearly way, way past his prime GGG is still ranked number 1 at 160 tells you how weak 160 is right now and 154 is just as bad if not worse.
