Round 7 against Ortiz, Wilder showed right there he doesn't have a glass jaw Fully agree though mate, none are granite although let's be fair, a Golovkin or Provodnikov chin is insanely rare
While I have respect for Fury’s chin, I also think it’s evidence that Wilders power doesn’t travel up all the way to the top. Yes he’s still powerful but he doesn’t crack the top guys like he does the cans.
Please..Joshua took several flush right hands from Wlad. The one that decked him would have KOd most heavyweights. His chin is certainly not glass.
It’s not like he fought 33 yo wlad , I just don’t think 41yo Wlad was that big of a puncher and didn’t featherfisted povetkin rocked him too?
Nearly the opposite is true. Joshua's chin looks pretty solid. Fury's chin, while shaky, is balanced out by his unusual recuperative powers. Wilder, on the other hand, hits the deck against pathetic tomato cans like Nichols and Sconiers, and has been rocked several times by some of the other mediocre fighters he's faced, like Molina. The only reason his glass jaw hasn't been shattered is he fights utter stiffs or carefully selected overrated old men like Stiverne and Grandpa Ortiz.
Did you see the impact of Wlad`s shot? The last thing to go when you are a boxer is your punch, just ask George Foreman. Moorer would never have been able to take the right hand Wlad knocke AJ down with.
