Ok, I keep hearing people saying Chisora's not got the power to hurt Scott or whoever, what a load of bs. He's mixed with the best bunch of the division in less than 20 fights. He beat the **** out of Helenius, who was kayoing everything at the time. He had Vitali on the back foot the whole fight and rocked/stumbled him at least twice, I have only seen Vitali hurt two other times via Lennox and Corrie. He also had Haye (who is very hard to land flush on) in big trouble late round 3 where the round was stopped 15 seconds early for Haye's benifit. He also brutally stopped Danny Williams (Faded or not) in two rounds.
Yeah I remember that, I think it was even a little more than 15 seconds early. He may not have devastating power but he stopped Williams, ***ton and you'd put your house on him stopping Skelton and Harrison too and people were hyping Price's power up ridiculously because of his stoppage wins in these fights.
He does have underrated power, but the "power to hurt Malik Scott" is something else. Of course, you first must touch him, which is tricky. Then even if you do, we have no reason to doubt his chin as of yet. (although when in with punchers he rarely ever gives them much of a foothold with his stingy defense, and thus has kept us from having a true idea of how big a punch he can take)
Very true. There is no doubting Malik's defence, I've been watching this guys fights and I (As a big fan of del) will tell you that stylistically this is a big ask for Chisora. Chisora keeps mentioning the ring will be 18x18 which I think is the smallest the BBoc allow, If this is true Malik will have it tough.
and yet he lost to all of those appoents that tells you what you need to know. its no good showing promise if you cant get the job done. looking good means nothing winning is what is impressive.
Chisora does not have one punch KO power, more of a clubbing style which wears you down. i think he will have major problems landings clean shots vs Malik and might need a dodgy British points decision. I don't think this fight will be entertaining, hope i'm wrong.
Wrong, wrong wrong and wrong. Chisora didnt hurt Vitali, Haye or Helenius. Haye decked him and Helenius had him hurt (chisoras own words). Chisora did woble Fury, but so does everybody else( Cunningham, Pajkic, Firtha etc.) Chisora needed a 30 punch combination to ko oldman Williams, who gets stopped against everybody. The fact of the matter is that Chisora is the most featherfisted top-40 heavyweight. His punches are mostly slaps due to incorrect punching technique. Watch his fights in slowmo and see for yourself.
Wrong, wrong, wrong, and wrong. Vitali - who the **** hurts Vitali??!??!! atsch You hold this against Chisora? Helenius - who the **** hurts this **** either? atsch You hold this against Chisora? Besides, Chisora plenty got the giant's respect and let us not forget was horribly robbed against him. Haye - Chisora did actually stun Haye, most notably in the 3rd. He lost to the better man on the night, plain and simple - and like the Vitali loss there isn't much shame in this one as Haye is top shelf. Fury - that was the fattest and worst Chisora ever spied in the ring. It was an important and pivotal match in both their careers, and one man seized the brass ring while the other, for whatever reason, bottled it. I would lay down a small punt on Chisora to stop Fury in a rematch, in a heartbeat.
Your presuming delboy comes in shape vs fury no guerentee that he will. Current fury beats any version of chisora and you know this.
You don't happen to be from Germany, Finland or Sweden right? Because in that case, Helenius beat Chisora and I won't bother arguing.
