I been a critic of that crappy style he incorporated from Roy ever since I saw it. Now he has ingrained bad habits.
Solution is simple, stop that posing BS with the hands down, bring the guard up, and let your hands go but not in a predictable manner of throwing 5-6 consecutive uppercuts or just jabbing and not following up. jab, right, mix hooks in, jab then body hook, try to get him to bring the guard down, test that body, disguise your punches. What the **** happened to body work, Smith's high guard and Canelo stopping him at it should be a blue print but Eubank is too sloppy and basic to not get countered in between.

I doubt he can fix any of this and him & Roy will just continue what they do.

Let’s see how the rematch played out. I have seen a lot of your comments since the fight and before. I agree in particular with your analysis about the fundamentals. As I have always said you live or die by the fundamentals. I don’t believe Liam Beefy Smith is now some monster destructive puncher nor do I think he is on anything but I do wonder if CEJ is dead at the weight. We need to see the rematch for clarity. If Beefy wins again we have our answers if CEJ wins the rematch then it sets up a trilogy everyone makes money.

Is he still too small for SMW? Not sure about that at all.

In my opinion Smith had Eubanks number straight away. Kept his strong guard work in place, waited for the moment and opened up on his opponent. I'd agree I don't think anyone can help him now.

Agree with most of the points here. He is old and an old dog will not change his spots, he is what he is,you cannot all of a sudden change his DNA. What makes it worse, he just doesnt listen, hence why he never ever opted for a serious coach who would tell he what he is doing is BS.

It's more that people wanted to see him get humbled. But also he has quite some profile, mainly from his name. For me though, he got took his loss but for the last few years despite all the talking he has been doing, his style is sort of made for a FOTY contender type of fight with the right dance partner

I don't think he trained properly for the fight, he was so overlooking Smith. Even with a full camp I don't think he can win. It's more a question of how much, if any humility he has left on whether he chooses to continue and if so, which weight, and against who.

I think he should have gone after Andrade and that WBO belt. He would have probably lost but at least he would have secured his challenging for a MW belt

    There is nothing to reconstruct.

Chris Eubank Jr found his level years ago when he was completly dominated by George Groves. The same George Groves who retired six months later after getting dominated and stopped by Callum Smith.

The level of Eubanks boxing skills was always overrated and hyped by his surname.

Eubak had some real luck that a. Korobov has a glass body b. James DeGale was shot to absolute bits and c. Liam Williams has a glass jaw.

Look at Eubanks resume. He barely fought anyone on world level and everytime he stepped up to that level he lost clearly.

There is a reason why Eubanks is 33 years old and has a weak and **** poor resume. They always knew that he's not very good at all.

Hiring Roy Jones Jr. as a coach was probably the worst possible thing that could happen to him. Hiring a world class boxer with ring iq to teach him the same stuff albeit he doesn't even have 10% of RJJ skills is a recipe for disaster and well...we saw that disaster a couple of days ago.

It's too late to change Eubank and it's too late to teach him the boxing skills he needs to compete on a higher level. He's a very good domestic level fighter in the UK who has no chance to step up to the world level. He's just not good enough. His athleticism is the reason why he is where he is but at some point that's just not enough (Joshua is a good example for that. ATG athleticism but a lack of boxing skills and you'll get exposed at some point).

I'm in the minority, and I am personally a bit biased for some reasons, but when I watched I saw Jr having much the best of things, circling and popping the jab with success right through rounds 1-3.

That's a good analysis, I thought Smith used the correct technique but I also thought Eubank looked awful..
He is what he is and he won't improve , he can only lower his opponent quality and fight on or cash out getting a beating from
    a good fighter

I've always felt that he had some very big boots to fill, it did and will continue to add pressure whatever way his career goes.

Taking notes on this video would be a good start for the Eubanks team.
