Crawford is 5'8 and he showed his weight from Dec. 22nd...with no fight scheduled. Ricky Hatton was 200 lbs. between fights does that make him a heavyweight? With a weigh-in 36 hours before a fight, everybody fights at the lowest weight class he can make, excepting Paq, Mayweather, and possibly Rigo. Chenko was 132 as an amateur and started pro at 126, is he a weight bully?

I would say that Postol is better than anyone Chenko has fought (and he's Ukranian!!!!). He'd abuse Linares who is about the same size he is who battled Cheko evenly for 8 1/2 rounds. GRJ is 5'4, Walters threw the fight quite clearly and Rigo was an old man that got rushed up 2 weight classes without a tune-up.

I don't have anything against Chenko, but he is quite overhyped, Usyk has fought better competition and has looked better against them, but he hasn't been in with one guy in 5 years who should even be DREAMING about the HOF. Crawford has done everything he has done, for twice the amount of time in three times the number of weight classes.

 

I stopped reading when you tried to claim Walters threw the fight. That is such a lame argument. I can just as easily claim Postol threw the fight with Crawford.

 

Fixed fights happen all of the time in boxing, and Postol is not on a two-year "vacation" after the fight, now is he? You see bro, betting against yourself is quite profitable when you call the round.

 

I'm not a big fan of Crawford's resume.

 

Glad to see the one trick Crawford hater is back. Doubt any one really cares what "you count" and I love that every Crawford victory eats at your gut. Too bad Mikey Garcia didn't want to box at 140 as long a Crawford was there

 

Any real fan of the sport should appreciate the skills of Crawford. Usyk and Loma are awesome fighters but, so is Crawford.

Yes, and right now those are the top 3 p4p in some order. We just wait for Loma/Mikey, Crawford/Spence or Usyk vs Joshua/Wilder to peehaps give us a clear #1.

 

Im tired and a bit bleary ive read both pages of this thread and im not really sure what your arguing about.

 

I have Loma at the number 1 spot and Crawford at number 2. Usyk has made a case for the 3 spot, but there is also an argument for Garcia and 3G as well. I personally can't put G lower than 4. Does Usyk deserve the 3 spot over G? I think Garcia and Usyk are left with the 4 and 5 spots.

 

Crawford needs to fight Mikey, Spence or Thurman, nothing else will boost his resume at this point.
