Any more for any more? Or shall we just throw some threads at this thing and see where it takes us?

 

OK so I'm getting the gist here I think - what i'll do is call it two every year.

But, I reserve the right to allow more than that in on the first year depending upon how this goes. I'm also going to allow one wildcard to be inducted by special vote after we're through voting by weight division.

OK! That is settled mates.

Induction:
Seven from each of the eight Classic weight divisions, to be voted on by the forum.
Then a certain number (tbd) for fighters drawn from all other weight classes.
Then a wildcard, voted for by the forum.
Then 2 per year excluding year 1 when a higher number (tbd) will be inducted.

I'll leave this thread open for general discussion, and we'll induct flyweights later this week.

That's a point, how long should I allow voting to continue for each weight class? Maybe I could allow a month for each weight class (way too long but it gives everyone a chance to think and vote) but open a weight class a day? So they are all on the slate at once?

 

Well that's the thing, I don't think it would be the case of stickying 9 threads - so no. If I want to sticky them I have to go one at a time.

But i'll rigorously bump them, violently one might say.

 

So what i'll do is every time we hit twenty ballots on the newest division out there, I'll open up the next division.

I think probably the deadline is a little too far away so I'll bring that in a bit on each new thread (but Flyweight will still close first, of course).

 

There was never going to be a GOOD time tbf.
