I’m finding this one way harder than the other divisions. I’m going to have to brush up on my flyweight history before I can vote.

I do think you guys got this one bang on, this is reflected by the fact that it wasn't particularly close - it was these seven from the start and apart from a brief rally from a couple of guys, these were the Magnificent Seven for sure.

Near Miss: There wasn't one really, this was pretty clear, but Masao Oba fell about 30% short in being your clear number 8.
The Big Surprise: Fidel LaBarba came joint 9th and for a little while it looked like he might force his way into contention for real.
Shocking!: Wee Willie Davies did not garner a single vote. He would have been Genaro if Frankie had never been born.

It's interesting how little Newsboy Brown was mentioned. Sure, he's obscure and didn't really stamp himself as an era defining guy but he certainly did more across his career than Obha IMO. Eh, I've got no qualms about the seven final inductees though.

Yes, I think it was just yourself and Rubber Glove that voted for him.

Wins over Wolgast, Genaro, Panama Al Brown, etc. I like Oba more but he doesn't have wins like that unfortunately.

Are these in order of most voted or just in a random order?

I was just getting around to this. Shame I missed the deadline.

I probably would have gone with:
    Wolgast
    Wilde
    LaBarba
    Lynch
    Kane
    Arbachakov
    Davies
