    Yes.

I understand, for you, this is some sort of inexplicable disaster unbeholden by God, but weight classes are just a mode of delivery. It could have been by decade, or alphabetically but the method of delivery is by weight class.

This has not been difficult for people. This is why Bob Fitzsimmons will be inducted by Middle and yes, to your great suffering, why Ezzard Charles will be inducted by 175.

Your inability to grasp this is now materially affecting the quality of these threads. Please don't post here any more about this subject.

I considered this, and thought about potentially swapping Foster for Conn; but for me, I find Foster a lot more awe inspiring, and I found it really difficult to separate that from him when comparing their careers as a whole. There's a lot to be said about such a dominant run with repeated "OMG do you think he's dead" type KTFOs. Even if his competition wasn't too great and he had his weaknesses.

Foster is an absolutely reasonable pick. But for the guys who barely left him out (like me) that's the reason.

Imagine Roy Jones was elligable? Vow.

I will say Conn had some run. The 20 odd fights before he lost to YCIII was absurd.

    John Henry Lewis

Trying to choose between, Lewis, Johnson, Bivins and Loughren was about impossible

Yeah don’t know how he and a few guys could be ranked over Jimmy Bivins.

Not seeing many lists with Rosenbloom. Am I missing something?

Just the other great guys really. I wouldn't have Rosenbloom even in a straight up top 7 at the weight - and he's certainly way behind the likes of Spinks, Bivins and Moore at HW.

But Rosnebloom is no kind of objectionable pick, that's for sure.

I agonised over Foster and Conn. Really wanting to have John Henry Lewis in there tightened things up considerably. JHL had a great career and is also criminally forgotten, or passed over IMO. I would have done some substantial mental gymnastics to get him in if i had to.

I actually just find his career more brilliant than Conn or Foster. Despite his loss to Louis.
