The pattern here has been fierce agreement on four guys and a fierce divergence over the other three.

    Near Miss
: Jimmy Bivins was in a life-and-death struggle with Bob Foster for the first two-thirds of the thread before Foster took over. Foster did pull away pretty dramatically though.
The Big Surprise: There wasn't one being honest, although Qawi became a factor close to the end.
Shocking!: Just two votes for the great Tommy Gibbons!

    Harold Johnson beat these guys:
    Clarence Henry
    Ezzard Charles
    Archie Moore
    Nino Valdes
    Bob Satterfield
    Jimmy Bivins
    Marty Marshall
    Eddie Machen
    Eddie Cotton (when it mattered)
    Doug Jones (beat Foster)

Bob Foster beat an old, undersized Dick Tiger and....

Harold Johnson and Bivins missing over the likes of Foster is a sad result. People tend to over value KO power over no hopers.
