The closer we are to a purse bid, the more erratic Fury is acting

Because it's a sh!t contract. They low balled Whyte and the WBC enabled them. That's why it's in arbitration because the usual split is supposed to be 55/45. Whyte fought with no crowd so he didn't get paid that much. So Furys team tried to use that to justify their split. It was a snake move to begin with.

Yeah it was a good punch , nearly as good as the one that left Wilder face first ;)

Good to know we have people on this forum who are not only Dillian Whyte fans, but also appear to be his financial/contract advisors.

Literally every boxing 'expert' in the public, including Whytes bum chums like Spencer Fearon, have said he should just take the offer and would be making a mistake by not doing it.

    Ok.

The real answer is he knows full well he's going to lose and doesn't want Fury to retire him for less than £10m.

Or, fury is the one who is activley looking for other opponents because he knows Whyte dropped him in sparring years ago and will KO him now. And what happened to Fury saying that he "doesn't care about money?"

If Whyte had as much confidence in his abilities as his fans online seem to, he would have signed already.

Fury is the champion and Whyte is the challenger. The champion has made an offer and its up to the challenger to sign or walk away. It's not Furys job to beg Whyte to get in the ring with him, that's not how this works. If Whyte doesn't get this fight that was 100% his own decision.

And if Fury had enough confidence in himself, he would just bump Whyte's % and the fight would already be signed. Ever notice how AJ always overpaid his opponents to get his fights made? Also, if Fury had confidence in his skills, he would never have had to take the PEDs nandrolone, right? He also would have fought more than just Wilder and an old Klitschko too, right? Like I have always said about him, name his 5 best opponents... you can't, can you?

55/45 is ludicrous. He got ironed out by the shell of Povetkin not so long ago. Title shot is there for him. Should want to win the belt not the lottery. Beat Fury and you will get the lions share as champion.

    100%

People defending Whyte at this point are either massive fanboys or have an axe to grind with Fury.

If the shoe was on the other foot, I would say Fury is an idiot for not taking the fight for 5 million.

    This is absolutely bonkers rubbish.

    'AJ overpaid his opponents'.

'Fury should just give Whyte more money for the sake of it'....

Mate you are so bias and one eyed its insane.

No fighter born from their mother would ever be willing to fight the great Oleksandr Usyk to duck a far inferior fighter in Dillian Whyte, who himself will be the one doing the ducking, the same way he ducked Otto Wallin, Joshua rematch, Ortiz, Michael Hunter or Usyk.

Doesn't matter what Dillian says since he has always been all talk no action. Ducked Joshua, Wilder, Ortiz, Usyk, and Pulev. Coincidentally they have all been very dangerous fights he'd likely lose. Here is a just a small sample of some sources:

    https://www.boxingnews24.com/2020/12/luis-ortiz-accepts-dillian-whytes-challenge-for-february-fight/

All we know is Whyte was twice ordered to fight Luis Ortiz by the World Boxing Council in world title eliminators to pick a mandatory challenger to former champion Deontay Wider. On both occasions, Dillian turned down the fight with Cuban talent.

    https://www.boxingnews24.com/2019/01/dillian-whyte-no-one-knows-who-oleksander-usyk-is/

“He’s a good fighter, but no one knows who he is,” Whyte said about Oleksander Usyk. “He speaks no English. What I’m saying is he’s not really a big fight for me. The hardcore boxing fans will watch it [Whyte vs. Usyk], but imagine trying to sell Usyk-Dillian Whyte to the general public.”

    https://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/boxing/dillian-whyte-branded-a-coward-21886812

"He had three chances to fight for world titles and rejected them all. One of them was against me for an IBF mandatory spot which Hughie Fury eventually took.

"And why does he want a match with Anthony Joshua now when he had the golden opportunity to fight him last May in Joshua’s last voluntary defence and turned it down?).

"Whyte and [Tyson] Fury have the biggest mouths in all of boxing, but at least Fury has some balls.

    https://www.sportbible.com/boxing/n...r-ducking-him-four-times-for-a-fight-20190705

"I told him [Whyte] to sign with the PBC [Premier Boxing Champions] when he came from over here network shopping or whatever he was over here doing," the 33-year-old Alabama-born boxer told World Boxing News.

"So I told him, 'Yeah just sign with us, a one-fight deal. Then no problem we'll get that fight on. We can get it on, I'll give you that shot.' But that was one time -- STRIKE."
