CARL FROCH has set his sights on WBA champion Mikkel Kessler.

Carl Froch would be happy to travel to Denmark to face Mikkel Kessler in a world super-middleweight unification fight.

Froch insists his market value has rocketed since his dramatic 12th stoppage of Jermain Taylor in Connecticut last weekend.
But the WBC champion is happy to travel overseas once more if it means securing a showdown with WBA rival Kessler.

"I'd fight Mikkel Kessler in my next fight," he told Setanta Sports.
"To add a bit of spice to it, I'd travel to Denmark to do it. I really would.

"I took the risk (against Taylor) and it paid off. I'm in pole position. After that win I'm in a prime spot to fight any other super-middleweight.
"TV broadcasters are queuing for me and rightly so, it's all happening for me."

Froch, 31, claims there is limited appeal in making the second defence of his WBC title in his home city, Nottingham.
"It would be nice to have a simple fight in Nottingham, earn a few quid and give the fans something back," he said.

"But I can't get up for those fights. I like to put myself under the cosh, under pressure, like my friend David Haye. :happy
"David goes out there and means business. He puts himself in the firing line."

Let's hope Kessler can get out of his mess and make this a reality :happy

I'd warm to him alot more if he canned his Calzaghe ramblings.

Until then he'll remain an irritant.
