i think froch has a huge sized mouth that isnt talking sense 99% of the time due to the lack of live opposition the bloke has faced, but i kinda agree with the quote above, bute will be nothing but a b-class fighter in future, he'll be like Edison Miranda, so much hype, quite a few supporters, but cant hang with the world class guys, i think Froch destroys him inside 4.

i'm sorry man but thats just my opinion on the guy, we dont follow the same fighters bro, if he proves me wrong i'll be the first to admit it, but there is still tonnes i have got to se from him before i do i know that fo sho!

 

In Froch's favor,he has been avoided by Inkin (given a title by Calzaghe, basically!) and Taylor (took easy money vs shot Lacy). He was also delayed by a knee injury, so hopefully he can cover some ground on Saturday.

He does have a good KO of Brian Magee and TKO of Sergey Tatevosyan - Euro level guys - so the natural step up is a talented contender like Pascal.

If Froch delivers vs Pascal, credit to him for staying focused after all the BS from contenders who don't want to step up.

 

Carl Froch has avoided all serious contenders until the WBC asked him to fight Inkin in an eliminator to become Calzaghe's mandatory challenger. Now, he's fighting Pascal for the vacant title. He will very likely win but he will still have to achieve more to prove he belongs alongside Kessler, Bute, Andrade, Taylor, and even Bika and Inkin at the top of the division, unless Pascal performs better than he has so far. You need to beat a prime contender or hold your own against the best to prove you belong at the top. Beating an (unproven) prospect doesn't prove much. Froch is talking the talk, but can he walk the walk? Time will tell.

Froch would beat (IMO) Andrade, Bika and Bute - each by UD (perhaps Bute SD/TKO) but would fall short against Kessler.
