I hope you caught my little Enter the Dragon finish the line there? I think I hold the record for watching that movie the most times.

 

Good for him. I was big into martial arts as a kid before boxing. I wanted to be a movie star. My claim to martial arts fame was competing against Chan Pui's most prized pupils in an international tournament. Ed Parker, Eric Lee Tadashi Yamashita, knew them all at one point.

I enjoy him, too bad he doesn't broadcast much in the US.

 

He's horrid and a King bootlicker.He can't a job in the big markets at all.Pathetic excuse for an announcer,the fat ****.

 

Yeah outside of my fav combo of LAMPLEY < MERCHANT> AND FOREMAN. he definately up there. Tyson-Bruno 2 comes to mind talking about Bruno's stance will only make him get harder. And the Tyson-Both fight talking about the mark of a shot fighter before Botha's neck got snapped, He was right though Tyson was shot at that point.

I like Lampley, Joe Tessitore, and Steve Albert. Lampley is the best by far

 

I have always enjoyed the Col., however, he is a Don King man.

 

I enjoy listening to "The Colonel" and always have done!!

 

I think he's the in-house blow by blow announcer guy for all Don King promotion fights in the international market.

He's almost always the play by play guy during big time boxing matches shown in the Philippines ever since I can remember.

He, or maybe Dave Bontempo.

I've only regularly seen the HBO team commentary (Lampley and Merchant) starting the early 2000s or something.

Col. Bob IS the voice of boxing since I was a younger guy.

 

He can be a better alternative when the hbo team are particularly ****, e.g. Hopkins vs Trinidad.
