I think its time for boxing fans to recognize how one dares to be great ...Look no further than the two guys listed .

Both men have gone on to win multiple titles while going after the best back to back ! Boxing fans should no longer be fooled into thinking a fights need 6 months to make, unless there is an injury boxers should fight as often as they could .

These guys have not stopped since before the Super 6 ! Its time the rest of the boxing world to continue to do this !With each outing they perfect their crafts and do a great service to themselves as well as the sweet science .

If more boxers fought more often the sport would have more stars ..

    Discuss!

Kinda, boxers need to fight often to build their rep and establish their craft. personally I would not put Froch in the same catagory as Ward because he is not at his level. Both guys have been catapulted into stardom based on their showing in the super six not necessarily due to the fact they were active. I think big fights do take time to mature and to be picked when they are ripe.

basically, up and comers have to fight more often to become established and when you reach a level of superstardom (at the box office especially) fighters become more choosey on who they fight and how often they do so.
