    this was pretty fantastic. I wish they would bring the contender back. that was a great show. USA won the challenge overall 4-2.

    the fights were

    Walter Wright(USA) vs Anthony Small Small won via UD
    Freddy Curiel(USA) vs Ross Minter Curiel won via KO7
    Alfonso Gomez(USA) vs Martin Concepcion Gomez won via KO7
    Jerson Ravelo(USA) vs Paul Buchanan Ravelo won via UD8
    Jessie Brinkley(USA) vs Robin Reid Reid won via UD8
    Cornelius Bundrage(USA) vs Colin Mcneil Bundrage won via KO7

    Did you guys watch this? I would love to see another one.

    It wasnt the cream of the crop fighters but still highly entertaining.

    Why was Sly on this show? I mean I know it was probably his idea but wtf

    Also didn't the winner kill himself?

    nah Najai Turpin comitted suicide. He lost to Sergio Mora in the first round of the first season of the show. Sergio Mora won the first Contender.

    Sly was the show creator. he and Leonard were pretty much everywhere.

    Ah that was it.

    Yeah I guessed/knew he created it, I just found it odd he was instructing people that would very likely have been better boxers than him

    it was very entertaining, but poorly edited.

    now im watching TUF, and its good.. but id rather see the contender though..

    Best victory was gomez vs manfredo in season 1 - big upset at time. looking back quite impressive as Gomez fights at 147 and manfredo at 160/168

    yeah Gomez was the man. Mad underated. Beating those dudes at 160 was highly impressive.

    The contender was **** other than this challenge. wouldn't mind seeing it again. Also wouldn't mind seeing Prizefighter in the states. Guys like Randall Bailey would probably flock to it if it had a decent media blitz behind it.

    yeah Minter was outboxing Curiel pretty easily but he had never been past 7 rounds and got knocked out in the 8th. His dad looked so dissapointed.
