I havent watched the Contender since Juniors robbery.

Its nearly non existant thesedays, not many ppl are paying
any attention to it.

If Junior was still in it, ppl might pay interest, because youd
have an undefeated fighter working his way into the finals and
then ppl would tune in - take interest because he wouldve
been a massive threat to Mundine.

Everything Mundine has represented, its taking a back seat
to the Danny Green show at the moment, which is great.

 

Its great that you have your finger on the pulse of the nations viewing habits, well done.

Well said AD,ive gone off it after jnrs loss,at the very start i thought it whould be Vic and hamden in the final,1 way or another.

 

i think from the start we all thought it may have been a set up....bloody choc is scum.

but i guess if he can influence the IBO judges, the NSW judges would be a piece of cake

Sonny is a raving lunatic but funny..

Hamden and Organov are both the real cowards...Gave it to pradeep but when it came time for them to both man up they voted Kani back in...That was a ****ing joke...

**** i hate Nader with a passion...Talks it up like he is actually a world beated..I hope junior gets a fight with him after the show...

 

Talipeau has got more media attention for getting robbed than he would have for beating Oganov.

If Contender was about raising his profile...the loss hasn't done him any harm in that regard.

I've only seen Junior's fight on youtube but I was there when one of the judges scored on the Tomas Vysokai V Dwight Ritchie a couple of months ago.
That was either incompetence or worse!

wats the go with the contender .. has there been a winner yet, or is the finale on the mundine card (hence ppv)?
