    sugar ray robinson was in a league of his own in terms of coolness. slickness in the ring, unbelievable robe, trunks, shoes and stance, slicked back hair, ladies man outside of the ring, first black fighter to dominate fight negotiations, and first fighter, period, to tell the mob "HELL NO!" to any of their requests without a reprisal.
