The guy that is the best around now is Sdunek. And he has been for a while now. His record in title fights is incredible and there just aren't that many losses and only a single blowout defeat. That's one of the reasons I liked vitali over Peter===just look at the corners and the gap between the two.

Steward has been regulated to a gun for hire for quite some time, aside from working with Lewis and Wladimir. Berestein is the other top guy in the sport.

A top notch corner is pretty much a given for the great fighters. Very very few have guys that are there to hold the spit bucket. Liston was the rare breed who had nothing for a corner and won anyway.

The best trainer in history hands down imo is Eddie Futch. Masterful trainer who worked the corner better than any other man out there. He could so easily turn a fight around for the better just by whispering a few words of wisdom into his fighters ear. Lou Duva, George Benton, and Emmanuel Steward are all also greats.

Yep. And he's very adaptable aswell, I mean look at the type of fighters he trained. Joe Frazier - ATG swarmer. Larry Holmes - boxer type heavyweight, another ATG. Riddick Bowe - could of achieved a lot more, very good heavyweight, sort of boxer/punch type. All different types of fighters.

And then you look down the list, not at styles but just at names. McCallum, Arguello, Bob Foster, Norton, Hill, Berbick, Camel, Blocker, Bruce Curry, Montell Griffin, Tapia, Starling, Michael Spinks, McCullough etc. Outstanding.

Freddy Brown stopped a severe bleeding of Rocky Marciano`s nose in a fight against Ezzard Charles. Without Mr. Brown`s help Rocky may have lost his title!
According to Ronald K.Fried ("Corner Men") it is possible, that Freddy Brown is the person behind the old-time trainer Mickey in the early "Rocky"-movies.

There are two elites here: Futch and Arcel/Arcel and Futch.
