if we're talking about our am coaches my guy islan eltuyev is great, real great. guy was two time soviet union light welter chmap, should have gone seoul 88 and world champs in 89 but got dropped for political reasons, the guys that took his place got gold :-(

anyway he makes you throw the same combination or even the same punch over and over round after round on the bags or shadowboxing til its perfect, real mr miyagi wax on wax off style! and he notices everything you do wrong in shadowboxing or sparring, got a real eye for the game, always dishes out top advice, he trained jamie cox as an am to commonwealth gold (who still trains down the gym with islan occasionally, hes actually a nice lad) and hes turned kelvin young around, another local pro who got khanned in 1 in front of the home crowd but has won a fair few on the trot with islan now
