Sure, you could... if you wanted to stretch the definition of "kind of" because you were trying to make a specific round about point.

I think Sanders would be the guy to finally expose Ike. Sanders wouldn't stand right in front of him brawling like Tua and wasn't a featherfisted stringbean like Byrd. Ike would find out that defense is necessary and that swinging wildly has a price tag attached to it.

One guy knocked out Wlad and the other was Kirk Johnson's sparring partner.

Also, wasn’t Purrity rumored to have actually KOed Lewis in sparring? I mean I know sparring is sparring but still. It just further illustrates what a NASTY test Puritty was capable of being for up and coming fighters. And I love The Duke… but Puritty gave him all he could handle. Dropped him twice! And stood up to an absolute NUCLEAR left hook in the 3rd that would’ve had 99% of fighters taking a 100 count. We all know about the Wlad fight! Puritty wasn’t a joke. At all. And Corrie completely schooled him. Stood up to some thumping shots as well!

The "Sniper" vs The "President"...? Well, Presidents don't have a good track record against snipers historically...!

But in all seriousness, I think Ike would narrowly take it. Once he started to reach his prime, he was a fairly well rounded slugger with some boxer puncher elements. A solid chin, high gas tank, and good power. Sanders had comparable levels of raw talent, but was so damn inconsistent. He also wasn't as busy as Ike, so if Ike takes control of the pace I'd have to favor him to outwork Sanders and take a decision or stop him some time in the latter rounds. Both guys have the power and timing to bang each other up, so I expect at least 1 knockdown or 2.

Ibeabuchi puts the pressure on, keeps a constant tempo, Sanders takes the early rounds, but he can’t keep up with the constant pressure and being forced to work harder than he wants, he can’t keep him off and it gets to him, he gasses and gets stopped. Obviously Sanders has power, but I don’t see him getting the tough Ibeabuchi out of there or damaging him enough to lower his volume.
