The Cotto\Margo battle... pic with Juan Ma...

First I would like to say my hat goes off to both of these men for giving all they had in the ring, for giving boxing fans what they pay for... A FIGHT! Excellent men in the ring and out. :deal

I have to admit, I underestimated Margo's toughness. He still didn't prove he has A level boxing skills, but the man has a heart of a lion and blood of a slave. Plus an iron chin and that proved disaster for Cotto. I had Cotto ahead 6-4 going into the eleventh... But I knew, even by the 6th that Cotto couldn't keep up the movement he had in rounds 1-6 if Margo kept up his pressure. Cotto needed to clinch a hell of a lot more then he did and by the time he tried it was a done deal. By round 10 I fully expected a KO, but the 2 knees I didn't see coming. Eva throwing in the towel was fully justified. Great fight, drama through out... :bbb

I have to tell yea, I was quite surprised with the crowd... I really didn't see hardly ANY empy seats ANYWHERE! Who said Margo\Cotto couldn't fill the seats?? Mexican fans where great (I'm PR).. They showed there pride but in a respectful manner throughout the fight and after at the night club, at the wiegh in etc... It was great! I would have to say (besides the horrible undercard) this surpassed the Cotto\Judah expierance by far. :rasta

The highlight of the night was bugging out with Juan Manual Lopez at Diegos!:smoke

Funny thing is my head is not shaved, I have a big head!

 

Its called a shape up... It looks sharp at first but if you get your cut to often it pushes your hair line back. Thus causing the widows peak that juan has... Its actually what blacks get all the time. A common practice on the east coast for the last 15-20 years.
