Probably Cotto's best win against an old, but not yet worn out Mosley. What would his chances be of beating the FMJ who beat Ortiz?

It would be nice technical fight with Cotto firing his jab and Floyd trying the pull jab over the top!

But I don't think Cotto has enough attributes to stop Floyd running away with a very wide decision.

Not much. IMO, Floyd was always too good a technician for Cotto, he'd find Miguel too easy to hit all night. If Cotto fought aggressively, went to the body a lot, and used his jab he would make it interesting and competitive, but ultimately he'd get outfoxed and outboxed, I'd say 116-112/117-111 type decision.

    Lose.

It would've been a good fight but Floyd's speed and counter-punching ease him to a win.

I like Cotto but I never thought he was the one to beat Floyd.

Yeah because Cotto DESPERATELY chased down that fight. He was forced to fight Gomez instead, as he was the only suitable opponent available. :yep:rofl

Cotto would have no chance. His face would be a pulp more than usual due to solid, accurate shotes. The best version of Cotto against the worst version of PBF would still have no chance.

The Mosley fight was 7-5 in rounds, with Cotto fading late. Based on that performance, I see Cotto starting strong, losing the middle rounds, and getting dominated late to lose and 8-4 or 9-3 decision. He may get stopped late, depending on which Floyd shows up.

    Please.

Cotto would gas down the stretch and it could even end in a TKO if Floyd went about dealing with Cotto if he went the same way he went about dealing with ortiz.

Call me mad but i can actually see Floyd possibly fighting Cotto at some point. Its a big fight and a low risk fight for Floyd, which we all know he loves!
