The count down begins David Price is back

Please, it was a glorified sparring session. Price has dropped 20 pounds and was just getting some rounds under his belt as hed been out of the ring a while. Hes in Germany now getting some top-notch sparring for the fight. Koed by 2 guys on steroids and he barely even trained for the Hammer fight. Stupid on his behalf, he won't be making that mistake again.

 

It would be amazing if he defied all the odds and did something in this fight but I'll settle for him acquitting himself well on a big stage, banking a decent pay check and retiring honourably and with his health intact. By all accounts he's a good man, I hope he isn't hurt.

 

Ok well I'll be pleased to be proven wrong and for him to ktfo Pov. I can't see it happening though.

 

His chin is definitely glass. Thompson stopped him by a punch just below the ear in the first fight. He has poor punch resistance which isn't helped by him gassing after 2 rounds.

Let's put it like this. Given Price's physical gifts it wouldn't be impossible. It is, however next to impossible. Price can smack pretty damn hard but he'd have to win the puncher's chance lottery 3 times for that to come about. It'd be one of the greatest runs for an underdog in history. Even though I'm a Povetkin fan, I'd have to tip my hat in respect if he did.
