The courage of Kell Brook should not be overlooked.

Always wanting the best? . Outside of Porter and Spence, he fought a whose who of Welter bums, cans, cabbies etc.

 

Brook has tons of courage, when Eubank ran from Golovkin, refused to sign the contract, he stepped up and fought Golovkin whom nobody else would fight, Saunder ran from Golovkin, but Brook tried................out gunned, but tried, wish he hadn't...............

Brook was attacked by a maniac with a machete, alone late at night in the guys apartment. Could have been killed so you can’t doubt his courage.

 

Any idea of what actually happened that night ? Seems strange that he'd end up at a random geezers apartment who'd later stab him with a machete

I've always defended Kell Brook. He outboxed Spence up until the eye injury in the 7th round. He got stabbed, came back, went up 2 weights and fought the most feared fighter on the planet at the time in GGG when no-one else dared to do it. And he didn't run away and try and box GGG's head off. He actually showed the bravery to go and fight up close and throw combinations at GGG.

I still rate Kell over Spence even after that fight. In fact, I rate him over all the welters and light-middles at this point in time. I think he beats Spence at light-middle, I think he beats the rest at light-middle as well. He's the best boxer at 154, one of the best movers at 154 and I hope they have a WBSS at light-middle, so Kell can prove how good he truly is and get that trophy and the belts in the process.
