Isn't it on Floyd to prove his greatness as well. If and when he beats Cotto that would be a huge boost to his resume.

Also Cotto is clearly Floyd's toughest fight available. I think people are sick of hearing Floyd talk about himself being great yet not taking the fight that will put him in elite ATG status and not just the best of this generation.

Dude I'm not just a fan of this sport but i'm a boxer myself. I'm not at all new to this. Secodly Floyd having to prove his greatness he already did. If he retired today he would be on his way to the hall of fame. Since when does beating Cotto determine Floyd's greatness when he's been proving himself SINCE 1998. As I said i'd LOVE Cotto's humiliation happen but I don't blame Floyd for sitting back and relaxing. He can if he wants to and he's doing it. And there's nothing that can be done about it. I got a question for you, what is it about Floyd that these delousional fans think Cotto can destroy? Last time I saw, Floyd is better than Cotto in EVERY area you can name.

The initial attempt to make the Cotto/Floyd fight was halted when floyd announce he is retiring . . . but then he came back to fight DLH. He did it again after the Hatton fight . . . and here he is again fighting DLH and the BIG SHOW.

Cotto isnt a coward. He is a robot with no personality who does everything the "company" tells him too.. Once he loses his first fight, he will fade into oblivion and only be remembered by boxing fans.
