Who gives a**** what hatton weighs in the offseason. He is known for being overweight in the offseason, that extra weight is made up of fat. Hatton was to small to compete at the welterweight division, You did see the colazo fight, right. Collazo a b level fighter beat his ass. You see it really doesnt matter THAT much where a fighter starts his career at, Delahoya started his career at junior lightweight, and he is considerable bigger then hatton.

Floyd has enough skills and is large physically enough do deal with the challenges at 147. Hes fought as high as 154 before. Unless he wants to retire and take his name of the marquee, and not this half-retired bull**** which just tantalizes people.

My point is Hatton being to small is just an excuse. He's physically bigger than Floyd. How was Hatton to small for a guy he was PHYSICALLY bigger than? His walk around weight says ALOT. He's naturally a bigger guy. Everyone Floyd fights recently is bigger than him.

You cant prove that hatton is bigger than floyd. The only thing his walk around weight says is he likes to eat alot and he has a low metabolism. If you go by his walk around weight you can come to the conclussion that hes bigger then De La Hoya who doesnt weigh 175 in the offseason.

I wouldnt say he too small for Floyd, I would say though he is too small for 147.

 

Good point right there, that was a much better analogy than other people who say Floyd took the easy fight by fighting a smaller guy:good However I think Hatton IS bigger. Not just because of his walk around weight, but look at his muscle build. He's stocky and has a thick build. In the 1st round of there fight when Hatton came in a wrestled he kind of picked Floyd off his feet just a little. He's not a better fighter but physically a stronger man. He may be to small for 147 but wasn't to small for Floyd like you said.
