So, Cotto is clearly number 2 in the WW divison. If Floyd doesnt fight a Ranked WW in a year or what ever, then that is crapand he would struggle to hold onto the spot.

I'll just say this, in my experience the difference between a Doctor and a regular joe is attitude not intelligence. And there are plenty of intelligent people on here so anyone who throws that **** out there thinking they're impressing someone is a ***.

 

Alright, so what do insults have to do with it? Cotto has a huge fan base. Floyd has his fans and haters that will watch. Its a no brain money maker. Floyd just has to say the word. Him needing incentive by being insulted is a bull**** excuse. This isn't a high school fight, its professional boxing at its highest level.

 

All they need to do to sell this fight is keep showing footage of Cotto knocking the snot out of guys, and keep reminding people Floyd is still the p4p best. This is the biggest match-up in the welterweight division in almost 10 years. Maybe since Leonard-Hearns. Seriously, how hard would it be to sell?

 

And Floyd does what he wants thats why he fights guys like Baldomire, Littleass Hatton, and Old ass Dela Hoya. Wake the **** up who is Mayweather fighting? By the way Cotto didn't even hesitate at the chance to fight Marg, the fight is basically set. Floyd is the real fraud coward here and you are his *****. He is pimping you in ever way possible I bet you have paid to see all of his shity pay-per view fights including his WWF match. Go get your pimp some money *****!

 

Hey C Money, this is my first message on these forums and i am a relatively new boxing fan having only really become interested in the sport 3 years ago. I just wanted to know why you have such a dislike of Mayweather? I mean, when I read posts from 'anti-mayweather' fans it is almost as if they feel like Floyd owes them something. What strikes me about boxing is how little fighers get looked after when their career comes to an end. . . i know it is irrelevant in the case of Floyd because he is wealthy, but, unless i am just completely ignorant, it's not like you get a pension so it is imperative to really maximise your money and limit the damage. My brother being a doctor has dealt with several fighters and the pain they go through with their hands and such when they are older really begs the question of whether those really difficult fights are worth it for an individual. It's not like Mayweather has even fought lower class opponents, although it does seem as if he is ducking Cotto, he was the underdog against chico and agreed to a rematch with Castillo when he was punished quite a bit in the first fight.
I wanted to ramble on but I am young and idealistic, i just wanted to get your opinion on what you really think of Mayweather and whether you would sacrifice your well being for your career?

 

Cotto doesn't need to call Mayweather out. I have never heard Cotto call ANYONE out. I have heard him give that same answer no matter who he was asked about. The entire world is calling out Mayweather to fight Cotto. Cotto happens to be a respectful guy who doesn't feel the need to shout names.
