Which fight carries the greater credibility?

    Calzaghe v Eubank
    Hatton v Tszyu
    Haye v Mormeck
    Froch v Pascal

Hatton and Haye faced 'The Man' in the division though both were slightly old. Pascal hasn't really done much and Eubank was way past his best.

Either one of Hatton or Haye for me.

Hatton and Haye, Eubank would've been good but he had a weeks notice! Pascal was a step up for Froch but neither had 'earned' a shot.

Out of those mentioned, Hatton without a doubt. Tszyu was considered top 3 p4p when Hatton dethroned him. None of the other names were anywhere near the top 10 P4P list.

    In order:

    (1) Hatton v Tszyu

    (2) Haye v Mormeck

    (3) Calzaghe v Eubank

    (4) Froch v Pascal

Pascal is a non-entity. He KO'd a bum...so what. He looks semi-decent, but there is nothing substantial to his record.

I like Haye's for going into his opponents backyard and getting no help from anybody.

Tszyu is the best win there, old or not.

    Hatton beat the best fighter.

Haye went up against the most odds imo. Don King fighter in his home country he had to get the KO

Haye is the most credible. Only one fighting a credible, active champion with a good pedigree.

Hatton, Calzaghe and Froch only tick two of those boxes.

    Tszyu

    Mormeck

    Eubank
    Pascal

You can question Tszyu's inactivity and age, but Mormeck was arguably further down the road, or at least past his best, and never the fighter Tszyu was.

Eubank wasn't even a top ten ranked contender when Joe faced him. Pascal is pretty much an unknown at the moment.

I'd agree that Mormeck was never the fighter Tzsyu was, it would be insane to try and argue otherwise. But Hatton was only Tszyu's 4th opponent in 4 years and his only fight in over a year. Not only that, Ricky had home advantage.

Haye went to Paris and beat the man in the division in his own back yard, and here's another mark for Haye - it was only his 20th fight. Hatton had had 38!

I think Haye and Hatton's wins are on a par with each other.
