No se pierdan este sábado 17 de Diciembre Cristian Mijares vs Alex Valdez en Sábados de Corona. A fight for Saturday announced today? Strange timing. Diamanté at Christmas though! EDIT: I'm aware that's in Spanish, but it's clear to see what the message is. The beginning if the sentence is merely "Make sure not to miss......".
When I'm not on my iPod I can give more info on Valdez if anyone's interested. Not as good as he was - never that good in the first place - but I suppose it's a decent fight if Mijares is going to fight Arce in February.
Look at Alejandro jutting his chin up like a proud little peacock, having no idea how ****ed he is. :yep
Only noticed that now, been looking at that nicely fitting Under Armour gear to this point. By the way guys who actually enter this thread, total cameltoe on Tecate girl second from the right. You are welcome.
Hey-oh! In what I'm sure is one of the stellar performances of the year, I'm reading that Diamanté iced Valdez in three rounds! :happy :happy :happy I watched up until the ring entrances(on TV Azteca's LEGAL online coverage) but TV Azteca soon realised that I was a young Irish upstart high on a Ward victory rather than a moustachio'd, sombrero wearing Mexican and promptly asked me to leave. So I'm afraid I can't offer much information as of right now. Apparently Orlando Salido is currently entrenched in utter warfare in the main event too. EDIT: Just to clarify: LEGAL LEGAL LEGAL LEGAL LEGAL LEGAL
:happy Get in! Is he rematching Arce then?! Mijares by another comprehensive outclassing. I f'n said he was a great fighter going through a bad patch (may've even been in this thread) and it's clear to see he's still got a bit left.
Erm, I'm out of my depth when it comes to finding a way in which to post certain photos but if you hit this link: http://www.fightnews.com/Boxing/pae...neup-fight-mijares-kos-valdez-in-three-104591 There's a couple of Mijares images from the Valdez fight, he's looking as ravishing as ever in them. I'm yet to obtain either a decent write up or any footage but it seems as though he had a relatively handy time of it while it lasted. Rest assured, when anything Mijares-related surfaces I shall be updating.
Heard Salido nearly got iced by his stay-busy Pinoy opponent. Thats fairly worrying from Orlando's perspective. I don't ever recall seeing him remotely close to being taken out before in all the fights I've seen of him. Even though Gamboa hurt him, it didn't seem as though he was near to stopping him. And Salido walked through Marquez, Cruz an JuanMa's best stuff without crumbling. Maybe his age has caught up with him?
We'll find out when he rematches JuanMa next year. The Salido fight is on YT if anyone wants to watch it... [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pTY8l-VbkSk[/ame]
Marquez, Gamboa, Guerrero, Lopez, Cruz, etc aren't exactly the type of guys you can eat shots from and expect it to last forever. Apparently the stoppage was controversial, Omar just went for it and bulldozed Haya into the corner.
