who do you think is the best cruiserweight in the world right now. ive not seen too many of these guys fight, yoan pablo hernandez marco huck (if he comes back down to cruiser) denis lebedev krzysztof wlodarczyk ??? or even good old antonio tarver what do you think?
Guillermo jones! Very underrated fighter! When hes on his game he beats everyone in the cruiserweight division!
Hernandez. Then Lebedev, Cunningham and Huck as close seconds. In that order I think. Lebedev (IMO) and Cunningham both beat Huck. Hernandez beat Cunningham and will beat Lebedev. Lebedev is good, but it was obvious in his fight against Jones, that he will be in trouble against any above average technical fighter. I haven't seen Wlodarczyk fight.
A lot of good fighters in cruiserweight division but no one is clearly above the rest. Hernandez is much better than in the past but still I am not convinced he's the best. Cunningham, looks like he's over the hill. Still good but his reflex and legs are gone. Wlodarczyk is good but not good enough. He's got heavy hands, nice technique and iron chin but is pretty much one dimensional. Lebedev is no different than Wlodarczyk. Interesting situation in cruiser and many potentialy good fights in there.
Head to head, I think Lebedev is the best. A lot of robberies in the division though. Cunningham robbed the first time against Hernandez, Ross robbed against Cunningham, Lebedev robbed against Huck, Palacios robbed against Wlodarczyk. Also, Tarver looked good against Green (certainly a lot better than Wlodarczyk) but has only fought one fight in the division. For that reason, it's the hardest division to rank guys in.
