Which fights do you want to see this year?

Which prospects have the most potential?

Currently its one of the most competitive divisions, it may lack great names but it produces great fights. Huck-Afolabi II, YPH-Ross & YPH-Cunningham II were all excellent title fights.

Wlod-Mormeck & YPH-Fields are scheduled for February, Lebedev-Chambers & Huck-Afolabi III are both rumoured for later this year but there are so many good fights to make.

Chambers vs Lebedev has potential to be a great fight.

If Chambers/Lebedev happens the winner should be considered #1 in the division.

Does Fields have a shot against YPH?

The Cruizerweight Division should be terminated because not so many people are interested in watching it. All Cruizerweights should move up in weight to the HWD.

    1. Fights I want to see in 2013:
Huck vs. Afolabi III (great, close fights they've had)
Lebedev vs. Chambers (ballsy fight for both)
Chahkiev vs. Arslan (all German showdown, Arslan deserves it)
Tarver vs. Flores (Tarver's last fight to try to redeem reputation, as much as I hate him for it, he's not the first nor last to take PED's, and I suppose he deserves the chance to get that sour taste out so he can show his face in the boxing world again)
    end of the year:
YPH vs. Ross II (controversial first)
Wlod. in a fight vs. one of the above winners (big Wlod. fan)
-At CW, really any of those same 10 guys vs. anyone else seems like it will produce fireworks and/or a notable result.

    2. Prospects. Hmm... Aside from Chackiev, a quick refresher on boxrec makes me think a battle of undefeateds in Masternak vs. Kucher would be relevant.

    3. Yes. Good fights. CW gets a little too much hate.

    4. Wlod. vs. Mormeck is disappointing, but I'm not naive about Wlod. not looking great recently for his management to have confidence in him. Nor am I naive about Mormeck's pending retirement right after the fight. Not a big fan of it, but blah... YPH vs. Fields is pretty disappointing, in my opinion. I always expect more of a "lineal champ," and I rated Cunningham higher than most, so naturally. Immediate rematch with Ross was in order for sure.

It could be a classic, its a really interesting fight & I hope it gets made

He deserves a rematch, so does Ross.

Ive not seen any footage. Judging him by his record Fields is a clubfighter without a decent win, but anyone who can punch has a chance vs Hernandez.

If Lebedev beat Champers, then I'd like to see him against Huck and Hernandez

They usually do go to heavyweight, which is why division is not really needed.

I wouldn't be against combining it with the LHW division. However, it's not going away anytime soon. The sanctioning orgs don't want to give up that extra income.

:deal All of the titlists & top contenders are so evenly matched, will this be the year that one emerges as the clear #1?

Iago Kiladze looks very promising as well, he should step up this year.

Also, Huck vs Afolobi 3 is in the making which will be good, personally i see Lebedev as top dog right now and Rakhim Chakhkiev as the future star! Wlodarczyk has always been avoided and very underrated but he is getting a bit long in the tooth now, Chambers is a good edition and maybe he will do well.
