Never saw Liston purposely throw low blows or rabbit punches. And then you have those glove "juicing accusations" by Williams, Folley, Machen, and Clay. Liston, a total paradox, and the Boxing Community will never know the truth.

 

I actually had just finished watching this before logging on here, it was the first video that popped up on my suggestions on youtube and i have to say amazing video love them all really, especially the one with sugar ray Robinson and the braddock one, huge fan rez keep up the great work

 

Great tribute to a legend; always saw him as more of a tragic figure. About the saddest story I've heard was when he won the title and flew back to St Louis, expecting to be met with a crowd of admirers and well-wishers ... stepped off the plane, and there was no one to greet him. The reporter who was there said he visibly sagged and became smaller ... it was also said the only time he was relaxed and not on guard was when he was dealing with kids.
