They have been failures as Pro's and are super boring with the cautious Amateur style they can't get rid off. Additionally you need to go back to past Olympics when they had 35 year old men fighting 20 year olds. Plus there is that little issue about the Cubans lying about their age like they do in Baseball etc. they are known for taking 5 to 7 years off their real age.

You do know that the Olympic boxing cut off age is 34 so how could a 35 year old compete? Or are you just trolling

Also when Cuba did have 30 year olds competing amercia did better so maybe they should go back to putting out old men to give your boys a chance.

Oh so now guys that have been competing in international tournament since they were 13/14 are lying about there age, cool story bro needs more dragons and ****. The excuses keep getting funnier and funnier

Oh so now Cubans are boring but when ward and Hopkins and cuddling and headbutting there opponents to death it's exciting and skilful , you are ******ed

Now that you've been exposed as a troll and an absoulute idiot can you now learn your lesson and make sensible posts please

I thought the general consensus even among American fans is that the style of Ward and Hopkins is generally un-presentable, and boring.

In what instance did you see either him, or other members of the board make the claim that they had a style that was anything other than lackluster? :conf

Seen it plenty of times it's called skilful and old school tactics when they do it, when a Cuban fights clean and actually uses skill instead of been dirty it's boring

You also don't see people dismissing Hopkins and ward as irrelevant for being boring do you ?

Actually most people here in recent months have dismissed Ward as being irrelevant due to his prolonged periods of inactivity. :yep

Lmfao the next in a long line of American excuses, when Leonard , de la Hoya and Reid were winning medel America gave a damn about it

When jones got robbed ye were in up roar, does that seem like ye don't give a damn? Only in recent years have Americans started saying stuff like no one give a damn about the amateurs

Amatuer boxing is where all boxers sart an where all talent is developed , it's attitudes like yours that will lead to the decline of boxing in your country if people actually take notice of the garbage your talking

Hahaha as if anybody cares about the amateurs anymore…nobody's given a shiiet in well over ten years. No different than watching fencing.

Americans don't give a crap about amateur boxing….kids train to become pro's. Not to master an amateur style.

Great consolation there…you own the amateurs….
