And how much do amateurs get paid? Americans go pro and make money not hanging around in amateurs. Other than Rigo how many cuban champs are there?

My point is Americans go pro ASAP. Cubans are forced to stay in Cuba as amateurs. Ask Lara how much he liked it? He left two of his children to come to America to fight for money because you can't feed your kids with medals and national pride. If our best fighters stayed in the ams rather than going pro it would probably be different.

The thread was about people going on about Cuba only doing well in the amateurs because it's boys against men when in reality a Cuban Olympic boxer Is on average two years younger than his American counter part

Americans have always gone pot young but it's only in the last 10 years they have done terribly in amatuer boxin,so since that point has been debunk once again I ask what's your point?

How is it misleading there facts you ******, you could say that about there last Olympic team but they got replaced by younger fighters and the same could happen again
Cuba probebly had the youngest team of any country at the tournament

Actually savon is gone to cruiser and so toiric has replaced larduet, toiric is currently 18 meaning he will be 20 by the time of the Olympics , younger than larduet was ,that's how it works in cuba

Yes and Americans did better against the Cuban 30 year olds than they are doing against the teenagers and early twenty boxers , do you want Cuba to start sending old fighters again to give America a chance ?
