The current Heavyweight division is a collective masterpiece of failure.

Wilder is the only Champion who stopped or knocked down every opponent he ,s ever faced , even Shavers didn,t ,t do that

It's an interesting read though, I would argue, a little harsh, overall (though I did agree with your assessment of Usyk and AJ).
For me, there are talented guys there, across a few different levels, dangerous to each other in different ways. But I think the main problem is that the top fighters haven't been fighting each other. And that not only leads to frustration, but also makes it hard to know where each boxer truly stands - in this era and any other.
Part of what makes an era great is a willingness to fight all comers and produce great matches. For me, to date, this has been more an era of wasted potential rather than simply being no good.

Shavers faced way better opposition in a much harder era across way more fights. His KO percentage is insane and everyone he faced said he was the hardest puncher they had faced. This being in the same era as George Foreman. Wilder's competition has been weak and he is of course still a massive puncher but I would like to see him fight more styles/guys with higher durability before proclaiming him the biggest puncher ever.

No it isn't, Shavers proved his power across more fights and in a far deeper era. Today's division is thin and filled with mediocre athletes (in comparison).

The current division has decent quality. Two ATGs (Usyk p4p and Fury HW) and 2 shoe in HOFers (the bodybuilder and Windmill).

Main issue is lack of top fighters fighting each other regularly.

Even the Dec 23rd "mega" card doesn't really have any very top HWs fighting each other. Parker and Wallin are fringe top10.

Does Joe Parker have one of the best chins IF NOT THE BEST chin Wilder has fought?

    Yes

If he death touches him it's undeniable.

Valid points and great post. Tons of detail and all very valid, especially agree on the potetial of Ortiz. Shame he never got to show it at the top level.

In my opinion, any division that has 10 fighters worth watching is a good division. HW is relatively deep with exciting potential fights, just too much garbage to be worth paying any attention to. This upcoming card is an example. People are lauding it like it's some big revelation, it sucks! They're giving us two or three mid fights with top level names fighting fights that are lead-ups to future fights, it's always another tune up or lead up. And people are somehow excited. It should be Wilder vs. AJ that night, really. Anything else is farcical.

We have to wait years for these fights and they're still almost always garbage like Haye vs. Wlad was a decade ago. That's why AJ earned his shot because his fight vs. Wlad was a classic. And also why Fury became so popular bc his fights with Wilder were good. If they just made the fights, heavyweight boxing would be great.

Tournament for all the belts: Ruiz vs. Zhang, Fury vs. Usyk, Wilder vs. Joshua, Wallin vs, Parker, Filip as alternate bc he has looked garbage in all his step-up fights to this point. Clear this mess up now. Then you'd have wins and losses shared among them all and reasons to keep big fights rolling. It's how the group of Vargas, Trinidad, De La Hoya, Hopkins, Mosley, Wright and others made their money in the 2000s. They fought eachother. I don't hate the division but it's not worth my time to keep up right now.

Again, it isn't. Whyte and Chisora already dropped him so I will not surprised when Wilder does. Shavers and Foreman have shown more power agains higher level opposition thus far.
