    Sure, if only we had more opponents like Sonowski to bring life to the division.

    Or Cleveland Williams, Leon Spinks,
    Maybe a blown up LHW like Michael Spinks in the mix too.

    Dont forget the great Marvin Frazier, Axel Schulz (nearly champion got robbed against Foreman) and and and.:lol:
    Also blown up LHW world champions like Moorer are really great. Standing toe to toe with old fat foreman getting KTFO:!:

    I think places like Russia, Poland and Ukraine will keep dominating the scene after the Klits retire. The US will never have dominance again.

    Didn't Vitali quit against a blown up MW/LHW in Byrd?
    Wlad won his first legit belt from Byrd as well.

    :lol::patsch

    What about in the mid 90s when a fossil(who was a shell of himself) won the lineal hw championship off of a former Light heavyweight? he then proceeded to go life and death with the likes of Axel Schultz(who was demolished by a green Wlad) and Lou Savarese? the mid 90s was MUCH worse than today's division, and the late 90s certainly wasn't much better. the 80s in general was pretty bad, really weak division that lacked depth. Can you imagine the 80s HW division without Tyson? Would be much worse than todays for sure. too many boxing fans wear rose colored glasses and don't look at boxings past from a realistic stand point.

    Some valid points, BUT and its big BUT we have two BY FAR best fighters in HW division not facing each other to see who really is the best, and for me that will hurt their legacies(shame they are brothers, but neither proved he is the best, I think prime Vitali stops Wlad)
