pinoy boxers wouldn't do that. they know some mexicans will be offended. . they are the classiest and most humble group of boxers i have ever seen. :good (talk about nuthugging) :hi:
whats with the inferiority complex? mexico just has more guys practicing the sport of boxing so there is a larger pool of talent than in the phillipines. these mexico phillipine threads read like a little brother allways trying to outdo and come out from big brothers shadow. pinoys should be happy with the fine fighters they have and stop trying to be better than mexico.
The thread starter is not Pinoy, he's always praising Eastern European fighters, so i suppose he's from there. But who knows maybe he's a Pinoy fan of eastern european boxers, like me, i'm argentinian, but i live here in Mexico and i really like mexican boxers.
Jorge Linares vs Oscar Larios was major ownage. Credit to Linares! Larios was able to go the distance with Pacman but Linares stopped him. I only seen the last round on youtube, but judging by the response of the fans , Linares was extremely impressive.
Linares is Great:bbb But what you mean about major ownage Since his last 3 fights, Larios was not even one of the TOP Mexican Boxers. The Mexies HAVE LOTS of fighters to root for.
Is Larios is 30 years old and washed up? Larios defeated Isreal Vasquez by 12th round TKO in 2002 and had a nice World Title run untill December 2005. Larios was one of the better fighters, untill he was Ko'd in 4 rounds by the same Vasquez he previously knocked out, then lost by decision to Pacman.
He has been in a lot of Wars! So yes, he's washed up, he's last 2 fights he couldn't KO guys with horrible records and almost lost versus 6-3 Cid .
Fair enough, Larios has been a pro since he was 17 years old and he is now 30. Larios has been in many slugfests ,and it has taken its toll. But even at Larios's very best, he could never beat Linares could he? Even in his prime he would of been owned?
I don't know abou that. Larios looked better with Linares than in his 2 previous fights. But i think Linares has what it takes to beat a Prime Larios.
