Jones is a 38 year old part-timer who has fought 4 times in the past 4 and a half years!

During the same period Green has had time to win the world light heavyweight title, retire, come back, win the cruiser title, and still manage to fight more often than Jones.

There's not much between them, but Jones does not have any outstanding credentials that should see him automatically rated higher than Green - that's why most don't rate him any higher than Green.

I think the fact he's a 2 time WBA Cruiser champ and has actually fought someone @ cruiserweight maybe gives him a advantage....

I'd luv too see Green fight Huck. I think Cunningham is way too much for Green but the Huck fight would at least show us where Danny fits in the cruisers. Huck's a real solid, good fighter but certainly not great. Be interesting.

Ah, a voice of reason at last! At least you are trying to throw facts around and not just hate.

Jones is hardly a celebrated two time WBA cruiser-weight champ. It involved winning the title, never defending it, an interim in his absence, winning it again next fight, and he hasn't defended it yet - no big deal that!

But yes he has fought genuine cruisers, and Green's has only fought one in Flores - so points to you there.

Looking forward to some more Green hate very shortly though.

I'm not hating, i'm just telling it how I see it. It's ridiculous that Green could possibly be considered the 5th best cruiser in the world when you take into account what he has done at cruiserweight and who he has fought.

Jones would probably say Green did the same thing winning his LHW title and then retiring and he only holds the **** IBO title .

Id say he's done more in those 4 fights than Green and Mundine have there whole career's .
    He's a legit 2time WBA champ.:bbb

A 24-2 stinker, but many of the 24 wins were against absolute bums!
