The D.C. Armory comes back to Boxing life

    I noticed the famous D.C. Armory is coming back to life and beginning to be host to a number of big boxing matches. This is great!
    I have a lot of fond memories of attending many varied events at this great old school venue.

    Hopkins - Shumenov was held there - GBP
    Ortiz - Thompson is there - PBC
    Broner - Theophane is being hosted there - PBC

    This is a sure sign that boxing is on the come back in the US. :yep

    It seats 10,000, so although it may not hold larger events like Canelo-Khan's MW bout, it can accommodate smaller events like Little g or Broner just fine. :good

    Plus, when I'm leaving headed south, I can stop by the Congressional cemetery to take a nice dump on the way home.
