    Which boxers, regardless of other factors, were the most dangerous to face in the ring? I'm thinking mostly of guys with one-punch KO power, or extreme aggression/stamina, just fighters that can be a real handful and even a great champion can't be assured of victory against.

    Yeah I think Walcott is a good pick. He's a double threat too, could knock you out or outbox you for the decision.

    I've always thought Nigel Benn is a good example of this type of fighter. You often wouldn't have him favourite, but you could never have him anything worse than a very live underdog, he was capable of stopping anyone on his day.

    Julian Jackson another obvious pick, one of those rare fighters who could end a contest with one punch from either hand.

    Tommy Hearns was extremely dangerous, partly because he was such a fast and aggressive starter, trying to get the KO right from the opening bell. And those fast long arms made it very difficult to avoid his shots consistently. The Hit Man was a pretty severe chin check for any fighter, and you were going to have to put up one hell of a display to outpoint him.
