Benn would rip him to bits. Far too fast and his bob and weave defence would have caused Froch a lot of problems. Froch would be hit constantly by big shots and as good as his chin is, it's not granite. He was dropped by Taylor and rocked by Dirrell. Benn hit harder than both of those two and was able to fight back from flush bombs from the likes of McClellan.

Benn stops him mid rounds.

 

I don't completely agree with this, but I definitely would favour Benn. I wish I'd been around to watch Benn at his best.

 

You're too kind to Froch. The speed gap is so enormous that I think he's be splattered in 2 rounds.

 

Benn would decimate Frochy, and I love The Cobra.

 

when you think about it Calzaghe and Froch is this Generations Eubank and benn.

Calzaghe and Eubank - Very technical fighters and very decent punchers

Benn and Froch - Wild brawlers and big punchers

Dirrells bob and weaving made froch miss a lot but the problem was that he didnt want to engage, too scared of bring KTFO but Benn being Benn would take the fight to him just like Taylor. Ill give froch a chance of a lucky punch that might put Benn down but all in all The Dark Destroyer would **** Carl up and Stop him before the 6th

 

Would have to favour Benn but I see it being closer than most. One hell of an exciting fight.

It would be a scream of a build up to this slug-fest, Carl would be Eubank II what with his posturing & GOB:yep getting in Nigels face & dismissing him as just a slugger ect ect & how his power would take benn out in 6

Reality check for Carl here as Nigel would smash him to bits what with his speed/pressure & power. Froch is tailor made for Benn what with his hands down stance & lack of movement. He'd walk right into a Benn blitzkreig & this would end anytime Nigel connected & followed up & the more i think about this it's going to be one way traffic ending with Carl laid out like a starfish ring centre, he just dos'nt have the defensive or tactical interlect to adjust to a fighter like Benn........It's a hammering:bbb

I like Carl, he's got a pair and puts it all on the line when he fights but Benn would tear him a new one

 

I'm going to have to go for a Froch points win. Benn's punching power is overstated at 168 and Froch is the better fighter all things considered.

 

Froch's defence would be absolute suicide against a guy with the power of Benn, I think Froch would have his moments but Benn would win around the 7th round.
