The Dave Allen PPV Gimmick

Why do people like him? He is taking the **** coming into fights with a big belly and a sob story.

 

If Hearn has said and knows that he hasn't sparred prior to this fight, then Hearn should not be putting him in.

I mean come on lets have it right, Hearn can't complain afterwards about the shape Allen is in during the fight if he knew it was the case before...

 

Cash is king and if he gets a phone call offering him 20 or 30 k to fight on a card last minute when he has nothing else planned he is going to do it.

Anyone know what he actually earned last night ?

 

Bit harsh mate, hes only lost one fight this year and stopped 4 opponents and drawn 1 fight.

 

He is the epitome of wahey, beers, lads banter, bantz, cheeky nandos, lads lad lads

he has countless opportunities on PPV cards that a lot harder working fighters would die for and he turns up fat and doesn't train. he then says the same **** after every fight so i'm bored

 

Well he's probably gonna be on TV screens more often with Matchroom attempting to take over the world of boxing. Eddie should look to put him in a Area/English title fight next which might motivate him to get in shape.

Thing is, he has a great chin.That can't be taught. There are fighters out there that would like that chin..He should eat and train right and see how far he can go.
I don't know what he gets paid, but if its say £5k a fight, maybe 10 lately, it seems that it is enough for him, for now.But in the long term the money won't last long, and he will be kicking himself later on.

 

Many journeymen have great chins, can they go far? People talk about fitness and his weight but the main thing he lacks is ABILITY

 

I don't why he doesn't hook up with steffy bull or Coldwell. He's somehow put himself back in contention for the English/British title and it seems he isn't learning from past errors

 

Any particular reason why he can't keep himself in decent shape all the time? After all he is a professional boxer!

 

Must admit I loved how he came out Stone Cold Steve Austin's soundtrack. Brought back nostalgia from my youth.
