Wlad should not have given this punk the chance to make all this money. The deal should have been something like 80% of the purse for the winner and 20% for the loser. Whatever the outcome. Then the pressure would be on Haye to prove he wasn't only in there for the payday. If Haye was unwilling to sign the deal then he would prove he was afraid he was a sure loser and the money-only strategy would fail. Apparently Haye is part Jamaican. Another faster runner from that island.
What I dont like is fighters acting like they are going to go to war usually refering to hagler vs hearns and then in the ring chosing a safety first strategy.
I agree with you on that. It pisses you off when a fighter promises you a war then does the exact opposite, which I figured Haye would of used as an excuse that if he had chosen to fight like that Wladimir would have known. So instead he fought that way to try to psyche him out.
Works both ways, Haye said he would knock out Wlad, Wlad said he would give Haye a pizza face for 11 rounds and knock him out in the 12th. BOTH failed to deliver. End of.
