My prediction is that Haye becomes the first man ever to be taken IN to the ring on a stretcher.

Lol couldn’t help but laugh at that.
By the way I think Haye will win a close points fight. If his body holds up.

Haye is saying the right things, he looks very lean so I think he should stop Bellow in the later rounds...

I can't get past the fact the muscle bound slow, injured Haye was winning the last fight until his Achilles fully went and after that Bellow couldn't get him out of there...

Bellow has really turned into a complete moron so I hope Haye makes him look silly..

Tony Bellew stops him again. Haye's legs and reflexes are long gone and are never coming back.

Haye has a little power left and can still win fights against big stiffs like Gjergjaj and de Mori that don't move, but against a mobile opponent like Bellew that can punch Haye will be useless again.

Bellew will win it...possibly by stoppage. Can see haye hanging on for a u/d loss tho. Haye looks finished to me. Can't even put on a five minute work out...without sending alarm bells going off. Even guys that are past it can put on convincing public workouts. Hayes bodies so ravaged with injuries...I don't think he can anymore. He can still do the strength training impressively...but as soon as it goes to the boxing ring the game looks up.

Its only that Haye is or was the much superior fighter...he should be able to stay in there. Plus the decent strength and conditioning. I think tony will be better this time as well...get the feeling he was gonna make haye pay in the first fight anyway. People go on about him struggling to get haye out of their with one leg but its always harder getting guys out of there when their concentrating on defence a lot more like haye was. Tony got a bit too greedy and tired himself when haye was on the defence. Think the plan was always take haye past six then up the tempo. Haye swinging and missing so much early would have came back to bite him.

I have to say, Haye did look poor in the public workout. I'm not reading massively into it though. I've got Haye to win; I'm gambling on the public workout being deceptive and/or not wanting to knock his trainer off his crazy shoes. Couple that with Haye not getting injured, and also not going in there, all guns blazing, and Haye could be good for the win. It does seem like and lot of ifs and buts when I write it down though....

Workout could have just been what they planned mate...just an easy session etc. But afraid to say I don't think I,ve seen any convincing training footage of haye in a boxing ring for years. They look like their trying to mask/hide injuries by avoiding doing stuff. They avoid throwing one/two,s if they can help it. Watch other people in training...the one/two,s pretty much the main thing they work off. With haye they always turn it to uppercuts or hooks as quickly as they can. After some unconvincing jabs or really unconvincing straight rights.

The public workout under mcguigan was the same...he actually looks like hes lost a bit speed/power. But maybe just salas,s methods...slowing his punches down. I think he,ll have the same problems..he,ll struggle with boxing in range with no straight right. He,ll then be stuck starting his attacks from too far out again. Which he,ll start after his boxing he was doing in rounds 3,4 and 5 in the first fight or with salas s improvements arent all that effective. He won the rounds....but tony imo had and will have more to come. When tony starts getting some success it,ll turn back into haye starting his attack from too far out. See a repeat of the first fight but tony getting off the game plan
he had all along. Get haye working and then come on strong after six. The worrying thing was bellew got success before the sixth was up...I don't think he banked on it himself...haye just gave him the opportunity.

    Hope I m wrong tho.

I just think your too limited without a straight right hand.

Haye looked flat footed in his gym training vid from the beginning of the week, but the public workout he was on his toes a bit more. I noticed the brevity of his public workout as well, but I have a sneaky feeling that's to lull Camp Bellew into thinking he's more incapable than he actually is.

Agreed on him not throwing his straight right much anymore, that is obvious but the thing is Haye is still a vicious left-hooker, and even his jabs can stop opponents in their tracks, particularly to the body as Bellew found in the last one.

I did initially think Bellew would stop Haye this time around, but a ruptured Achilles like Haye suffered is probably one of the most serious non-fatal injuries a boxer (or any athlete for that matter) can suffer, and Bellew still struggled to finish him.

Haye was starting to dominate in rounds 4 and 5, and Bellew was gassing. You can bet his achilles (NOT his ankle as some have been posting) will not be 100%, but as long as it's healed enough to allow him to pivot and push off even just for a jab and a 50% right hand, he should win. Bellew's a LHW ffs.

The problem is without the straight right as an option its pretty hard to set up the left hook effectively. You want to be getting in boxing in range....then stepping in with your left hook. The problem is without the straight right you need to transition from the jab to the left hook to do that properly. Its a difficult thing to do. You also need to have options to vary it up for being too predictable at that level. Without the straight right your limited.
They tried to mask it in the first fight by starting his attacks from too far out. Left hook...right hook. Avoided boxing his way in. Tried to bomb his way in from too far out. Without a straight right your a sitting duck boxing in range. Hence why Hayes work came through bombing his way in from too far out...or jabbing from the outside. The lack of straight rights killing haye. Like it would for most fighters.

There doesn’t seem to be any snap to his punches, and his timing seems off. Can he really be that bad?

As for his footwork, it’s better than his previous fight, but it’s not great. But again, perhaps some of it is misdirection.

In all honesty, I’ve got a lot more respect for Bellew after the first fight. Not because he won, but because he’s in the public eye more, and he seems like a decent guy. I love his take on PED cheats.

If Bellew does win, I don’t know what would be next for him.

With Haye, I think he’ll get fed to Joshua. Easy work for Joshua, but it will sell like a super fight.

Lolololo Haye and Bellew are desperately trying to sell their second fight. Almost started a fight yesterday on the face off.
