    I'm sure if Toney was on medication for a legitimate doctored prescribed recovery I'm sure he would have informed the commission ahead of time

    Fact is he got caught

    Have to agree he should have informed the commision prior to that bout but there is nothing in James' physice thats scremas steroids ..

    Uh do you have proof Holyfield got popped with PED's ?

    As I recall those were registerered to Even Fields :lol:



    As far as I know no punishment was handed out not until recently that I have heard fighters being banned for a lengthy amount of time.

    Holyfield was probably on more juice than Roid and Toney combined.

    If I showed you video footage of Evander 'The Steroid Commander' bent over with his pants down around his ankles with Memo Heredia standing behind him with a hypodermic needle in hand injecting steroids into his ass I bet you'd still try and argue his innocence. lol

    Neither him nor McCline received any kind of punishment at all as far as I'm aware. Holyfield certainly didn't and if McCline did, which I'm pretty sure he never did, it was tantamount to a tap on the wrist.

    I'm sure the only videos you could obtain of Memo injecting anyone would be of Even Fields that guy is a disgrace yet I dont know what sports he's involved in.:bart

    I will agree though the punishments weren't that severe,most offenders did get slaps on the wrist But as testing became more advanced and commissions actually knew what particular things did what and what to test for then protocols and punishments could be put in place ..I think that's what you see now . Look at Andre Berto I beleive he served a 1 yr ban .I mean it was what it was people made a lot of under the table deals to keep guys going and to some extent they still do .

    Right I believe you I think there was plenty of speculation though due to his training with former Mr Univers Lee Hainly and the whole Epo scandal from what I remeber .

    There is a lot of reasons to suspect that Holyfield has used peds, but no hard proof.

    The main sources for reasons of suspicions are:

    1: Dr Margaret Goodman's comments after examining the scans of Holyfield's heart after the Moorer I fight

    2 The Evan Fields business

    You were likely prescribed a CATABOLIC steroid NOT an ANABOLIC steroid there is a difference. Nandrolone is the name for Deca Durabolin (there are short and long acting versions) which is what many of the MLB baseball players were caught using.

    Toney is a two time convicted steroid cheat. He Also was likely using for the Booker fight as he got cramps during the fight and was being trained by a former Mr Universe for his conditioning can't be bothered right now to look the guys name up but there are articles out there about this as Roach promptly fired the guy after the Booker fight. Do the math on this one Toney being trained by a former steroid using bodybuilder + positive tests right around this time it is likely James despite Roach firing the conditioning coach likely never got off the steroids.

    James Toney is a disgrace to the sport of Boxing. Period.
