As soon as the brothers get in the ring with Chris Arreola, Eddie Chambers, and Kevin Johnson :happy

    1) Arreola does not belong on the list with Chambers and Johnson. If he's the #3 U.S. heavyweight, it's a diiiiiiiiiiiistant third.

    2) Either Klit, even a shot version of either Klit in the year 2020, takes out all three of the above on the same night without breaking a sweat.

I don't see Fat Tits doing too well against Wlad. Chambers is a skilled boxer, not a big puncher, which is the type of style that Wlad has been chewing up.

Is Chambers better than either version of Byrd that faced Wlad?

Chambers has nothing to worry either Klitschko. Nice boxer indeed, but the Klitschko's are better boxers with a huge physical and power advantage.

    Same with Johnson, really.

Arreola would need to get in a lot better shape and learn effective pressure. As it is he ain't quick enough or skilled enough to slip the Klitschko jab without serious damage in the process.

I would give Arreola and travis walker the edge over wlad right now. Travis walker knocked vitali down in sparring. So you know he can punch. I think walker is underrated. He did not fight the right fight against Arreola.

If any combination of those 3 would fight it would tell us a lot. The winner would be a legitimate contender for either Klitschko. Chambers in my opinion has already earned a shot.

Shut up derrick, i'm sick of people bringing up sparring crap acting like sparring is the same as real fighting without head gears. Pedon gave Barrera a tough one in sparring but Barrera easily beat Pedon in a boxing ring without head gear. Williams beat up Margarito in sparring but beat Margarito in a close fight with out head gear.

    derrick,

I have seen Wlaker up close and watched him train. He is a big guy but he has no Chin and his stamina is downright awful. I think Walkers supposed knockdown of Vitali had more to do with Klitschko's knee than Walker. It was already torn the previous day and he was testing the brace sparring with Walker.

Either way my brother asked his trainer about the sparring knockdown and he would not give a straight answer either way. I am not saying it did or did not happen just that I personally take all of these "sparring" stories with a grain of salt. Either way Walker got his name out there because of it because other than fighting Arreola it is his highest career achievement.

I haven't seen Johnson, so can't comment there, but I'm still convinced that Haye is the style matchup that would cause the most potential trouble (certainly for Vlad, anyway). I don't think he'd win, but I'd put his chances as better than the others.

Jeezuz... why am I commenting in one of this guy's threads? Bored, bored, bored...

Johnson is a big guy 6'3" and around 240. He has a good Chin and a great jab and left hook. He has to this point not shown anything else. I think he would beat Haye. I would love to see him fight Arreola.
