The decision is taking away from fact canelo fought a great fight!

Fight was very close! Canelo stood in the pocket and responded with clean effective punches. His punches were cleaner, crisper and had a thudding impact. He made golovkin miss a ton of punches and took away the ko killer mystique. Canelo did better than Jacobs did against GGG and avoided being knocked down and people think Jacobs was robbed!

Adelaide Byrd had a terrible scorecard which takes away from a brilliant performance by canelo against a supposed ko killer golovkin. If any scorecard was horrendous it was Letterman's who was giving every round to golovkin when it was canelo who was controlling the action.

Canelo did well for 3-4 rounds, but his excessive movement resulted in him gassing out and turning negative. Canelo needs a better coach to work on how he moves around the ring. For every two steps GGG took Canelo would take 5 or 6, which really adds up over 12 rounds.

Everybody agrees he fought a decent fight. He just never won the fight, and his whole team should admit that. Its a good job they never stole the title from GGG, because if they did they would have destroyed boxing's credibility for a very long time.

how do people argue jacobs won when he was knocked down? imo canelo fought a much better fight than jacobs, landed cleaner harder shots than jacobs, won more rounds than jacobs and avoided being knocked down.

an imapartial judge would not have any problem with this fight being called a draw, the ridiculous 118-110 scorecard is what has the ggg fanboys crying robbery.

ggg made several mistakes like mindlessly stalking canelo and not putting in any bodywork, he thought his jab would win him the victory. meanwhile ggg abandoned the body work. this fight was kovalev vs ward all over again w canelo avoiding a knockdown.

i have no problem with this fight being a draw. canelo banked rounds early and won the later rounds, ggg couldnt get a knockdown or bloody canelo up or hurt him to the body, ggg missed badly and had zero plan b.

jacobs did better than canelo. Jacobs has a stronger case for a draw than Canelo!!

    Canelo clearly lost.

jacobs did not do better than canelo, stop lying. canelo landed way harder cleaner punches and controlled the action in the ring. just like ward neutralized kovalev canelo neutralized ggg, where was ggg's ko power? he wants canelo to stand there and let ggg punch him straight in the face lol GTFOH

Canelo was boxing, a smart thing to do against an aggressive fighter. The hypocritical thing is that Canelo and his fans called Lara and Mayweather out for "running" (boxing) and not standing toe to toe. Canelo finally gets his wish of going toe to toe an does the exact same thing he critized Mayweather and Lara for.

Didn't Canelo want Lara and Mayweather to stand in front of him too? He called them Marathon runners.

Great, but not good enough. Really is that simple. Yet again the general public are laughing at the disgrace that is boxing officials.

canelo walked through ggg and had him going backwards at points and i feel that is where he neutralized golovkin the most. canelo tried to bait ggg on the ropes as well. canelo dictated and controlled ring generalship the majority of the fight. i am not saying canelo dominated the fight but he did fight a great fight and had byrd not have had such a terrible scorecard i don't think backlash against the draw would be so bad.
